Dear Sir or Madam, The furniture sector is slowly returning to ‘normal’. We are reopening our stores all over Europe, having implemented the new standards and rules. We have been informed by our clients that the sales are steady, even though their retail outlets are not as busy as usually. Our suppliers resumed production a couple of weeks ago. Even though some restrictions have been loosened, we have maintained the sanitary regime as the coronavirus risk has not been completely eliminated. In the upcoming holiday period the infection rate may increase. The authorities of North Rhine-Westphalia are planning to allow us to organise trade fairs. Therefore, the autumn fair edition (MOW) will be held in September. The restrictions published yesterday will be observed. However, having talked to many of our clients, we know that they are very sceptical about their participation in MOW. For that reason, BEGA Group has undertaken special measures with regard to the September fair. The companies of BEGA Group have decided to have all the new models designed and available by the mid-August. Hence, the opening date of our showroom is scheduled on 24 August 2020 and we will keep it open until 25 September 2020 (on shopping days). By extending the exhibition period, we hope to keep the daily limits of visitors under control. Our 12,000-square metre showroom shall allow the visitors to freely move about. Limiting the numbers and eliminating the non-registered visitors, we shall be able to prevent any random contacts. Kindly register beforehand. Only registered visitors will be admitted to the trade fair. Our managing directors and sales managers will contact you soon to arrange your date of admission. Our key clients and department stores may register for exclusive entry. We cooperate with our local health care authority on regular basis. We have developed our own concept of sanitary regime and we will strictly comply with all the restrictions imposed by the authorities. The BEGA Group visitors can expect the highest safety standards.
